Dr. Rick entered practice with his father, Dr. Robert Smith, in 1978 and since then has been at this same location.
Dr. Smith has strived hard to bridge the gap between chiropractic and allopathic medicine. Dr. Smith enjoys a great reputation among medical physicians and receives regular referrals of patients for chiropractic management of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Smith for several years had a particular interest in frequency treatments. This has culminated in the inclusion of SCENAR electric stimulation and recently new Cold Laser therapies into our practice which have proven to be very beneficial to healing and rapid recovery of many conditions.
Dr. Smith stays current on new treatments and technologies and Smith Chiropractic is known for its "state of the art" facility with a family atmosphere. Dr. Smith's interest in anti-aging nutrition has lead to the recent addition to our practice of the Revelar breath testing device to measure free radical damage (oxidative stress) which enables us to measure and monitor the progress and effectiveness of anti-oxidant nutritional therapies. Also, Dr. Smith's interest in healthy non-invasive body fat reduction has lead to the latest addition of Zerona laser body contouring, a new body-sculpting procedure designed to remove fat and contour the body without invasive surgery.
